"BookPivot started as the booking system for my own private lessons. Every rule in it, from the 30-minute hold to the 2-hour reminder, is there because a real lesson needed it."
Straight answers.
Do my students need an account to book?
No. Students book with their name and email. After their first booking they can sign in with a one-time email code, no password, to reschedule, cancel or pay.
Does it work with Google Calendar?
Yes. Busy events on the calendars you choose block those times, and every confirmed lesson is written to the calendar you pick.
What if two students pick the same time?
The first student to continue holds the time for 30 minutes while they pay. Anyone else sees it as taken and picks another time. A lesson time can never be sold twice.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
You set the windows, for example a full refund up to 48 hours before and half up to 24 hours before. The refund is calculated and sent automatically, and you can always refund more.
Can students book in Spanish?
Yes. Booking pages, the student dashboard and every email are available in English and Spanish.
How much does it cost?
Pricing goes to founding instructors on the waitlist before launch. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
